Just Plain Hot

Well, we have had a rest from the torrential heat most of the midwest has been enjoying but not to jinx our luck - it is supposed to be warmer tomorrow. I will never complain about 80s in July.
I ran out of Memories Mists Pale Ale this week. By the time I order it online and pay shipping it is about $11.00 a bottle. Well that is too much even for a fantastic product which I use constantly. So - I have been experimenting and have "created" something halfway equivalent. By mixing alcohol ink (santal) with denatured alcohol and adding a few drops of Bantoc brown ink refill I have come close. Not exact but I think it will work and still dry fast.
Have a new Garden Journal going and planning to use it as a lesson planner for a group tomorrow night making altered books.
Everyone stay coooool and remember fall is only 3 monthes away!

Life is short. We seek adventure where we can find it. If you would like to travel along - follow the crumbs we leave on the blog. Photographic Illustrations, bricolage art and Relic Hunting are our methods. If you don't have a good time - you aren't trying.
