The Descent of Fall

Fall descended on us slowly, with elegant grace and has left the air pleasantly chilly. The clouds are streaked and full of designs and the leaves are becoming more beautiful each day. The walnuts have fallen everywhere and the squirrels and rabbits and birds are all fat and fluffy. All is right with the world!
We had a couple of hours to try out the new AK - Ric did a fantastic job on the new stock!

It has taken us 8 weeks to be able to say Remy without stopping to cry. Everyone seems to be getting better. Bailey is going to be a Pirate for Halloween - not sure how the black patch will show up on the black fur . . . but . . . guess we will be creative!
Plants are tarped like a blue ghost tonight with an eerie light keeping them from the freeze - first of the year. It always looks so empty when all the plants go to sleep for the winter - maybe that is why I love the snow so much - it covers up the empty with a new beauty! Hope all is well in your world!

Life is short. We seek adventure where we can find it. If you would like to travel along - follow the crumbs we leave on the blog. Photographic Illustrations, bricolage art and Relic Hunting are our methods. If you don't have a good time - you aren't trying.
