Frost Mailed Warrior

January, my favorite month. I really don't care if they change the horoscopes I will always be an Aquarius. Always be an earth dog in Chinese astrology. They fit my belief system. So, I don't think I will change. It seems that January is considered a new beginning for so many - all those new years resolutions that will be hidden beneath other forgotten intentions by February - I don't usually make one. I either change or I don't.
I have been trying to figure out how to attach a head to my newest warrior and while doing so have kept my hands and mind busy  with these postcards - its a nice way to use of scraps I am loathe to throw away. And it fills my quirky sense of humor needs.
This card's base and some extras were supplied by Pamela who has graced me with loads of wonderful Chinese tidbits which I am just now thinking through. If you get a chance, visit her blog at http://cappuccinoandartjournal.blogspot.com/ it will make you want to visit San Francisco and get to know her and her art!
If you have not dropped by Books Plus in Mission Kansas for all of your used book needs then you should visit the blog and see what you have been missing. ks-booksplus-isitfirstedition.blogspot.com
Really no reason to shop anywhere else.
This weekend's poem:
"January is here, with eyes that keenly glow,
A frost-mailed warrior
striding a shadowy steed of snow."

Life is short. We seek adventure where we can find it. If you would like to travel along - follow the crumbs we leave on the blog. Photographic Illustrations, bricolage art and Relic Hunting are our methods. If you don't have a good time - you aren't trying.
